To Be Read Pile (December 2013)

Hey Chroniclers! I've missed you all so much but unfortunately I'm still not back for good. Work is still killing me and everyday I get a little more sad with these long hours and knowing that I'll have to work during the holidays and such. I explained in my last post but I still feel like I owe you guys an explanation. Now, I know this post is super late but I really want to start posting again and try to get back to doing what I love and forget about my job so I had to put it up anyway. It's already December and Christmas is already next week I believe and it's all so crazy! So without further ado, I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of December 2013!

To Be Read Pile (December 2013)

This is the last month of the year and holy crap! I can't believe a year has passed by me so quickly! Not only that but my pile has risen up once again! (stupid job). But, I'm just grateful I can buy books once again so I will take advantage of this while it lasts.

To Be Read Pile (November 2013)

In the month of November I bought 5 books and received 2 books for a total of 7 books! I was at 48 books but now I'm back up past the fifties with 55. I finished reading 0 books in the month of November! 0! I told you this job was bad and evil! I was always too tired to read more than a few pages and at one point to read at all.

I don't exactly have anything planned for the month of December except just try to finish books before the year ends. You all know how weird I am about needing to finish my last book before the year is over because I can't enter the new year reading a book. I need to be able to start a new book on the 1st of January. Next month we'll see how I did though.

I'll make sure to leave at least one more post before we enter the new year. Especially because some exciting things have been going on around the Facebook page and I need to celebrate it.

To Be Read Pile (November 2013)

Hey Chroniclers! I'm back with a second post for today. It's already November and holy snap. Thanksgiving is coming up and then Christmas and then it's a brand new year and I feel like this one just started! Why is everything going by so fast?! With the beginning of the month though, I always have to show my TBR Pile. So I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of November 2013!

To Be Read Pile (November 2013)

It has lowered! Finally! Sweet book lord, it has lowered and you can tell! Not to mention I actually read some books that weren't in the picture last month. It makes me feel good because you can see the progress happening before your very eyes.

To Be Read Pile (October 2013)

In the month of October I bought 2 books only! I was at 54 books but now I'm at 48. It seems like I'll never reach the 30's but at least it went down! I finished 9 books and I'm currently reading my 10th. I'm pretty sure that's the most I've ever read in a month this year.

I have nothing planned for the month of November actually. I just plan to read books that I'm in the mood for really. Hopefully I can finish a couple of them so that the pile is even lower but we'll see how it all plays out when I visit it again next month!

To Be Read Pile (October 2013)

Hey Chroniclers! I'm back with a second post! Whoa! And this post is actually on time! But it's finally October and the year is going by super fast and I have no idea why. With the beginning of the month though, I always have to show my TBR Pile. So I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of October 2013!

To Be Read Pile (October 2013)

The pile definitely went up, there's no denying that, but I'm not even mad. Some of the books that I added are themed books that I'll be reading this month and they're super short and easy reads. I hope. Maybe I'm a little mad, but not that much.

To Be Read Pile (September 2013)

In the month of September I received 5 books and bought 3 for a total of 8 books added to the pile. I was at 48 books but now I'm at 54 books. I finished 5 books and I'm reading my 6th. This basically matches last month. Now that I finished reading Les Misérables I can focus more on my other books. Hopefully I'll be able to knock out a bunch of books and lower the numbers.

For the month of October I am planning to make it Themed by reading "scary" books. Witches, zombies and monsters, it all sounds fantastic and I can't wait! We'll see how it goes when I come back with next month's pile!

To Be Read Pile (September 2013)

Hey Chroniclers! So this post is a bit late, like very late. I thought I had put it up already and then I would realize I didn't and forget to actually put it up. And then that thought process would start all over again. It's better late than never though, so I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of September 2013!

To Be Read Pile (September 2013)

So, you might notice that it's currently in a different place. I had to move the books onto my dresser that is against the opposite wall so that I could have more space on my bookshelves. Also, the wall is gray and not beige as it looks. It's the filter.

To Be Read Pile (August 2013)

Last month I had 53 books which, it just feels like it's never leaving that area. I received/bought 1 book only! Which I actually received and that's because I was in Portugal and couldn't buy anything. I finished 5 books and am reading the 6th (this was during the 1st of September). The thing is the 6th is Les Misérables that I started before going to Portugal and am still reading! (Even today!) All in all, I read about the same as last month which isn't that bad but could have been better. I'm currently at 48 books! Progress! Makes me feel good!

I don't exactly have plans on what to read in September, although I've read a few books already, so it's basically just winging it! Hopefully we'll see more progress in October!

Hey Chroniclers! It's finally August and I left yesterday and am now in Portugal but haven't forgotten about you guys! And with the beginning of every month, you know I have to bring you guys what I'll be reading and such. So I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of August 2013!

I have no more space on my shelf and it's driving me insane! I legit thought it was going to get smaller but things just kept on happening and books kept being added and before I knew it, it was too full. I can't add anything anymore! D=

To Be Read Pile (July 2013)

Last month I had 51 books. I received/bought 6 books. I actually bought the majority of them (along with using Viggle points) because of book signings. I finished 5 books, 2 of which were rereads, and started my 6th novel. I did better compared to last month so hopefully I can get better. On top of that I was in a reading slump so blah. I'm currently at 53 books which is higher than last month but who's counting? Psh....

My plans for this month is simple. I chose a number of books I'll be reading and have brought with me from Portugal. 9 books, 1 which I'm currently reading.

Hey Chroniclers! I'm back with another post! Whaaaat?! I know! Two posts in one day, the sky is falling. I'm back, though, because it's the first of July and that's just some foolishness! But, I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of July 2013!

To Be Read Pile (June 2013)

I don't even bother at this point. Last month I said I was going to read Game of Thrones but I decided to save it for when I return back from Portugal and start on some smaller books for now. There's a little bit of space but you can't exactly see it at the moment. Soon you can. Hopefully.

To Be Read Pile (June 2013)

Last month I had 51 books. I received/bought 5 books which isn't that bad. The majority of them I received for review so hey! I read 4 books and started my 5th which isn't that great, compared to how I did previously. Hopefully I can read a lot more this month. I'm currently at 51 books again which is making me feel like I'm reading in place. 

I don't exactly have any plans for this month except read the smaller books before going to Portugal at the end of the month. I really don't know what books I'll take to Portugal so I'll go and read them now randomly. Hopefully next month there'll be a big space for newer books but...

Hey Chroniclers! So this post is a little late but that's okay. The problem here is that we're halfway through the year, ALREADY! I can't deal with this. Everything is going so fast. But, to make things better, I present thee, the To Be Read Pile of June 2013!

To Be Read Pile (June 2013)

I no longer have books hanging out in front of other books! I actually have space to ad a book or two. Kind of. Once I finish more books I'll have space so I must get to reading. My problem is, as my shelves get more and more full and I find the need to use these two shelves, where will I put my TBR pile? The horror. But you can notice a bit of difference from last month.

To Be Read Pile (May 2013)

Last month I had 53 books. I received/bought 2 books only! Which is a record because I'm going crazy and NEED to buy more books but I need to learn how to control myself especially being super broke. I finished 4 books and started on my 5th. I was sick in bed with food poisoning for a few days and then left for sort of a mini-vacation for another few days and got no reading in for that week and a half. All in all I am now at 51 books. I thought I would've been lower but I guess not.

Last month I was supposed to read all of my ARCs and I got pretty far into them I think. I have about 3 left but that's okay. My plan this month is to finish the book I'm currently reading (which I actually finished along with another book) and read The Silent Deal and then start A Feast For Crows so my TBR Pile might not be low in numbers but you'll notice a difference from the big book being taken away.

Hey Chroniclers! I know this is a bit late but I didn't exactly have time to sit down, take the picture and post it up. But, I finally have and oh my wow! I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of May 2013!

To Be Read Pile (May 2013)

If I was hanging my head in shame last month, I've dug my head in the ground this month. What have I been doing if not reading?! Why is there books already starting to form in front of books?! What is this madness?! I feel like I need to do nothing but read for a while just to get these books out of the way lol.

To Be Read Pile (April 2013)

Last month I had 53 books. I realized now that I received books in April before taking the picture so I was starting to get confused a bit with the numbers. I received/bought 13 books to add to my shelves. I finished 8 books and started on my 9th. I am now still at 53 books. Again. It's like I've been running in place D=

Last month I was supposed to read all of my series enders which I basically did minus two books that I'll be saving for later. This month, I'll be planning on reading the ARCs which is on the top shelf on the left side. Thankfully they're short so that I can get through them fast. But, we'll see how it goes.
