Tuesday's Novel Spotlight (52)

Hey Chroniclers! Welcome to another Tuesday which means books have been released into the world. Today I will be bringing you two posts! One will be this one which I'll share my enthusiasm for a sequel, the other will be about a debut novel. Tuesday's Novel Spotlight is a weekly (or so) meme hosted by me where I share my excitement for a sequel that is being released. I don't talk about it, just say how excited I am for it and ask you guys for your thoughts. Let us begin!

The Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind!

I finished the Sword of Truth series earlier this year. At least the first arc because now there's a new arc and this is the second book of it. While I haven't read the first one, I'm still excited to buy this one and own it. I just know it's going to be amazing and I'm seriously missing the characters from the series way too much. I don't know when I'll buy it because I'll only be able to read it next year, but we'll see how it goes!

I kind of like the cover. I like the fact how the new arc has this theme of black with the red going on. Really do like it.

What are your thoughts on the series and author? Leave your comments down below and let me know what you guys think?

Monday's Novel Talk (58)

Hey Chroniclers! How are you all on this fine Monday? I'm actually doing fantastic because I no longer have that headache from yesterday. It was a killer and took away from my reading time but luckily I woke up fresh and got to read!

Since last week I have finished Confessor by Terry Goodkind. The last book in the first arc of Sword of Truth series. It was such a bittersweet ending that made me tear up. At least I know that there's more books for the second arc!

I also finished the prequel Debt of Bones by Terry Goodkind. It was a short fun read about how Zedd conjured the boundaries and saved his daughter. It was pretty cool seeing some of the historical events in actual words and not just hearing about it.

I started reading How To Save A Life by Sara Zarr. This book I bought on random impulse last year when I was at a Barnes & Noble. It also reminded me of The Fray and so I just got it. So far I'm actually enjoying it. The nice change of pace from adult to YA is helping me relax my exhausted brain a bit before I tackle some more adult books. I should be done with this one soon as it's a pretty fast read and I seem to be enjoying it a bunch.

But that's all I've been reading. What are you guys reading? Leave your comments down below and let me know.

Monday's Novel Talk (57)

Hey Chroniclers! How's everyone doing on this Monday? I feel a bit blah. My body is killing me, I have a huge headache, my fingers are spazzing out and doing this weird thing. In conclusion, it's blah. But, we are here to speak of what I've been reading!

Since last week's post I have finished Phantom by Terry Goodkind. Book 10 in the Sword of Truth series. I actually finished the book at 3:30 AM today. It was so good and the ending killed me so I had to start the final book in the series. Now when I say final book in the series I mean, final in the main arc. Which is the main story. Then there's the prequel, the companion which is said to be set thousands of years into the future and then the sequel. The sequel, while it continues off from where the main arc leaves off, following the events right after the last book (11) it's book 1 in the new series arc. There's also the novella about the first Confessor. It's an e-book but I seriously wished it were published as an actual book.

But, at 3:30 AM I started reading book 11 Confessor by Terry Goodkind. I read until 4:45 AM and got to page 72 out of 757. It's going good and it's fast paced and I can't believe I'm finishing the series years later. I think it's been three years already. It's making me a bit sad but I know that there's more for me to read and there's more to come out soon!

But that's all I've been reading. I'm trying to finish this book by Thursday so we'll see how that goes. Nothing ever goes as planned as I have learned.

Monday's Novel Talk (56)

Hey Chroniclers! It is a Monday and so far this Monday has been the best one so far. Good things are coming to me and I'm so grateful for the people who've helped me and can't thank them enough and possibly might even love them? >.> It's true, it's true. But today, I tell you what I've been reading and such.

Since last week I have finished Chainfire by Terry Goodkind! Book 9 in the Sword of Truth series and it's building up to an epic conclusion in the final three books.

With that being done I have moved on to book 10, Phantom by Terry Goodkind and it is becoming such an amazing story. I just can't handle all of the craziness that's going on and sincerely hope for the best. I'm currently on page 90 of 673. It's less pages than the previous book so I should be able to finish this one sooner.

Aside from reading I've been catching up on some shows! American Horror Story, Once Upon A Time, and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (don't judge the boo boo) to name a few. I've also been watching The Biggest Loser now which makes me tear up every episode watching the people and how much weight they lost. It's all so crazy and it continues today!

And that's everything that's been going on in the past week. How has your week gone?

Monday's Novel Talk (55)

Hello Chroniclers! It is another Monday that none of us like and would rather not have. I might actually catch up with American Horror Story Asylum to pass time. But anywho I'v been doing so bad with the reading.

I am still reading Chainfire by Terry Goodkind. Currently on page 554 of 748. Almost done but I could have been done earlier if I hadn't been so tired and falling asleep! But I plan to be done with it this week and go onto the next book. I think it's going a bit slow because I'm really missing a certain character and wish they were in the book. Perhaps the next one though! We'll just have to wait and see.

Aside from that nothing really has been going on. I'm feeling a bit tired right now and am too lazy to go cook food which I really want because I'm starving. But now I shall go and try to accomplish that or else I will starve to death. I'll see you all tomorrow!

Monday's Novel Talk (54)

Hey Chroniclers! I'm here with a quick post since I have some stuff to do and Titanic will be giving soon and yea. >.>

Anyway I'm currently reading Chainfire by Terry Goodkind which is Book 9 in the Sword of Truth series. I'm loving it of course like all the other books and it feels good to be reading an adult book. I'm currently on page 232 of 748 and have a lot to go still. D= But I'll finish it soon!

But that's all I've been doing. I shall go now and finish taking down my Christmas decorations and then watch some Titanic. Hope you've been doing well and remember, Save a Panda and read a book!

In My Mailbox/Book Haul (15)

It has been a while since I did one of these and another while since I last posted. Things got kind of busy and I was just all types of lazy to type up a post but finally I am back! In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren where we show the books we got the past week. This week was actually pretty good because I caved in and bought some books and plus a sequel came out. I was supposed to put this up yesterday but I had to work so I had no time.

Tuesday I went to Barnes and Noble in NYC with my niece because The Calling by Kelley Armstrong had just come out. I bought it and read it and it was actually really good. But my addiction got the best of me so I bought A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. I always said that I wouldn't read the books until I finished the three last books of Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind and I'm still keeping up on that. I just had to buy the books to have it! >.>

Thursday my addiction got the best of me again so I ordered the second book, A Clash of Kings and it arrived Saturday morning. I'm trying to get all of the books in Hardcover without the HBO thing on top and they look amazing in person.

But yea that's all I got this week. I doubt I'll be getting anything else real soon because I still need to lower my TBR Pile. Leave your links down below and show me what you guys got the past week!
