Hey Chroniclers! Before I say anything I'd like to offer a quick apology for not posting and not announcing the winners any sooner. I must apologize for not announcing them right now as well. The thing is, a lot has been going on right now and whenever I'm in these types of situations where everything is coming at me from everywhere I choose to do nothing. Unfortunately blogging was one of those things I chose not to do. Not because I didn't want to but because I love it so much and care so much that I just didn't want to hurt it. It doesn't make sense really, but in my head it does.

I will announce the winners later on once I get back from New York City but in the meantime I present to thee Stacking The Shelves. Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews where we showcase the books that we got during the week. This week I'm actually showing some books that I got in the past two weeks.

The first book I got was The Silent Deal by Levi Stack that I received for review from the author himself. I already finished the book and it was amazing and you need to look out for the book week where I'll introduce the book, cast some characters, put up an author interview and a review for the book. It should be up soon.

The second book I got was Starfall by W.A. Fulkerson which I also received from the author himself. The novel seems super interesting and I'll be reading it soon as well as doing another book week with this one as well.

The next two books I bought (more like used Viggle but that's a long story) and they are White Cat and Red Glove by Holly Black. I can't wait to read these two because they seriously seem super amazing. Plus, they're set in New Jersey so heeeeeey. Also, it's weird how both covers are different, one is glossy and the other isn't, yet they were both published at the same time.

But that's basically all I've gotten lately. I don't exactly buy books unless it's through Viggle or I receive a coupon and even then I'm not the one that buys it. So who knows about next week. What did you guys get this week though? Leave your comments down below.

Stacking The Shelves (15)

Hey Chroniclers! Once again it's Sunday and I'm so tired and exhausted for reasons I don't even know. But, I must force myself to post this week's Stacking The Shelves. Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the amazing Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews where we show what we received or bought during the week. This week I'm actually showing two weeks worth of books because I didn't get much and didn't want to do a post with just one book.

Last week I got three books in the mail sent by a Chronicler and friend by the name of Stacey! She recommended this trilogy and sent me the books and I can't wait to read them!

The Dragon Bone Chair, Stone of Farewell and To Green Angel Tower by Tad Williams. The three books are huge but that third one is a beast! I can't wait to read them though, they look like they're going to be good and epic!

The last book I got was one I bought and that is Sweep Volume II by Cate Tiernan. It included books 4, 5 and 6 of the Sweep Series and I won't read it just yet. I plan on buying all of the books before reading them.

But that's all I got this week. I don't plan on getting any books next week so my TBR Pile won't be growing anytime soon. But I'm happy with the 4 books! What did you guys get this week though?

Stacking The Shelves (14)

Hi Chroniclers! Another week has come and gone and I've been lacking with the posts. I'm trying to get them up again but I've just been so blah. But let's get on with today's post. Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Tynga from Tynga's Reviews where we show you the books we received or bought during the past week. This week I got a couple of books for some very good reasons!

On Tuesday, the day when books are released, I went to Barnes & Noble in NYC once more and bought Light by Michael Grant. It is the final book of the series and I actually finished it already. It was so amazing and I felt a bit empty after closing the book and saying goodbye.

I also bought The Rising by Kelley Armstrong which was also released on Tuesday and is also the final book of it's trilogy. This one I'm currently reading and it's another favorite trilogy of mine and hopefully I'll be done soon.

I decided to buy Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness which follows the buying theme basically and is the last book of its trilogy. I haven't started reading them yet but it was cheap and I had to get it.

This week I also got a Barnes & Noble 20% off coupon and I made a list of the books below $10 that I wanted to buy and chose the cheapest one and used the discount. So basically, I bought Sweep Volume 1 by Cate Tiernan for about 3 bucks. My sister actually has this book and loved it and I've wanted to buy it. The other books are also less than $5 so I should be getting them soon.

So that's all that I got this week! 4 books and I'm happy with that! I don't plan on buying anything for a little while but that never works out so we'll see how it goes. What did you guys get this week though?

Stacking The Shelves (13)

Hey Chroniclers! So this is a bit late and I haven't exactly been posting which is horrible of me, I know. But I decided to get this up and start posting again! Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews where we showcase the books we bought or received the past week. This week is actually pretty funny how I got these books. Basically my friend Jen and I bought Christmas presents for each other for 2012. Except we hadn't seen each other since December and only last Saturday, the 23rd of March, we saw each other and exchanged gifts. She got me a Barnes & Noble gift card so of course I had to order!

I got 3 books this week!

I wanted to buy books that would finish the series that I already have instead of buying a new series. So the first one I bought was Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke which was almost twenty bucks and took up most of the gift card. But I now have it and can read the series and finish it up!

The second book I decided to get was Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick. It was one of the last few books I needed to get that were series enders and since it's April and it's my theme I can now finish off the series and put it away!

The finale book I got is Hidden by Sophie Jordan and I am disappointed on how small this book is compared to the first two. Again, it is a series ender so I would expect it to be bigger if not the same size and it's smaller and 260 pages. I don't even think the series is that great to begin with but I have to finish it as well and it should be a fast read.

Hey Chroniclers! I was supposed to put this up yesterday but the day went by so fast and before I knew it it was over. I have no idea how that even happened! But I'm here now and time to show you what I got! Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the joyous Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews in which we show you what we bought or received during the week! This week I went bad, especially considering that tomorrow I'll be buying another book and in the next week or so I'll be getting two more. It seems like my TBR Pile will never go down! D=

 Barnes & Noble sent me a coupon for 20% off and I always said that I'd only buy a book if there was a coupon so I could limit myself and save money at that. So with the coupon I bought Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews. I've heard about this book so much on YouTube and it seriously got me interested and so I'm super freaking to read this one! I'm not sure when I'll get to it though. I also love the way the cover feels. It's like rough parchment!

On Saturday I went to Walmart and I went into the movies section and looked for Game of Thrones Season 2 but they only had the DVD when I was looking for Blu-Ray. So instead I settled on a book, Rise by Andrea Cremer. My mom actually bought me it so my money has been saved. Again, I hear the prequel series are the better books so I'm pretty excited to read this as well. I'm not sure when I'll read it but hopefully soon.

Stacking The Shelves (10)

Hey Chroniclers! Another week has come and gone and many of us have gotten more books to add to our shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Tynga over at Tynga's Reviews where we showcase the books we received this week! This week it's basically a blessing that I didn't get a lot of things so that my TBR Pile doesn't go any higher.

When Cinder by Marissa Meyer first came out or I think ARCs were going around, my friend Ky from Can't Find A Bookmark read it and fell in love and just told me about it like the reader she is. I admitted it sounded good and last week I received a copy of Cinder and when I told my friend Ky, she offered to send me her ARC of Scarlet since she already had a hardcover and here we go! I finally got it and I can't wait to read both of them!

I keep hearing good things about both of these books and I'm so excited but I'm not sure when I will read them. Perhaps sometime before June but we shall see.

Stacking The Shelves (2)

Holy Shiznet! I haven't done one of these in the longest! But I've been getting books like crazy! Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by the beautiful and ever-wonderful Tynga from Tynga's Reviews! Ever since that drama went down Tynga took it upon herself to create an awesome and new meme and came up with this one. The purpose is to show the books you got during the week to help others find things to read and see what new books are out there.

This week I got 9 books sent by HarperCollins Publishers!

So let's start off!

Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started will be given away to a friend of mine who likes Justin Bieber. I don't exactly like him enough to read about him. The same goes for One Direction Behind The Scenes which will be given to a different friend who is in love with them.

Charlotte's Web by E.B. White I now own a Hardcover copy which is awesome and I can add to my collection now!

Warriors Box set will be given to my nephew who I will buy the other books for him.

Wildwood and Under Wildwood by Colin Meloy lead vocalist of The Decemberists I can not WAIT to read these. They give me a Narnia feeling, love the cover art and the way it feels. I might save these for December along with Big Nate In A Class By Himself by Lincoln Pierce which is a Holiday book.

Hello everyone and welcome to my first post of Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a new weekly meme hosted by the wonderful and ever-epic Tynga from Tynga's Reviews! In light of the recent event of drama around the blogging community, Tynga has took it upon herself to create a brand new way to showcase the books we received in the week. So goodbye to In My Mailbox and Hello to Stacking the Shelves.

Basically the name stands for the books we've received that will help stack our shelves higher than they already are. But if you want more information just check out the video in the bottom! (And comment on it too!)

Anyway, this week was pretty good and I got 4 books in total!

I bought A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin along with A Feast For Crows. Both books 3 and 4 in what we now call the Game of Thrones Series. I seriously can't wait to read these and Book 3 is a big ass book!

I received The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge from Random House by their RandomBuzz.com program.

I received an ARC The Lost Code by Kevin Emerson from Harper Collins Publishers through Goodreads.com

All of these books sound so freaking good and I seriously can't wait to read them! I might explode if I don't soon especially Game of Thrones! -dies-
