Monday's Novel Talk (63)

Hey Chroniclers! I'm finally posting again and on such a good time too! The weather is AMAZING today. It's warm, the sun is hot, and I keep hearing birds singing. Spring has finally arrived and everyone knows that you read better during the Spring.

It's been a while since I posted one of these so I've done a bit of reading since then.

I finished A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin and it's seriously one of my favorite series. It ended with such a cliffhanger that I need to read the fourth book now, but I must wait! Season 3 of Game of Thrones started as well so I have something to quench my thirst for more. 5 out of 5 stars / O for Outstanding.

I finished reading Hidden by Sophie Jordan, the final book in the Firelight Trilogy and I was greatly disappointed. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars or a P for Poor. I think that the story of it all in general was lacking and could have all fit into one book. And for a series ending it lacked all the good things it should have given us.

I read Light by Michael Grant, the last book in the Gone series. I loved it so much and it was everything I asked for. I felt like one part was a bit sudden but overall it was literally everything I asked for. 5 out of 5 stars or a O for Outstanding.

I also finished The Rising by Kelley Armstrong the final book in The Darkness Rising Trilogy a companion trilogy to The Darkest Powers Trilogy. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars / E for Exceeds Expectations because I felt that the ending could have been something different. She also said that she was done with that world for now but I feel like she should go back to it and give us what she promised.

I'm currently reading Endlessly by Kiersten White the third and final book in the Paranormalcy Trilogy. I'm only on Page 1 of 385 but I hope that if I read a lot today, I can finish it by tomorrow.

Monday's Novel Talk (62)

Hey Chroniclers! It's me again! This time I'm bringing you some Novel Talk a little earlier than I have in the past few weeks. Yay for being almost on time! lol

Since last week I have finished reading Guys Read: The Sports Pages edited by Jon Scieszka. I should be writing a review for it soon, just have to sit down and get to it.

I also finished reading The Namesake by Steven Parlato. It was such a good book and I should be writing a review for it soon as well. Seriously such a good book I loved it that much.

I also started reading A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin and I'm currently on Page 19 of 924. To finish by March 31 I divided the number of days by the number of pages and came to the conclusion that I need to read 66 pages per day. If I read more than that per day, I'll finish it sooner! I've missed reading this so I can't wait to see what goes down and I can't wait for the show to come back!

Stacking The Shelves (1)

Hello everyone and welcome to my first post of Stacking the Shelves. Stacking the Shelves is a new weekly meme hosted by the wonderful and ever-epic Tynga from Tynga's Reviews! In light of the recent event of drama around the blogging community, Tynga has took it upon herself to create a brand new way to showcase the books we received in the week. Anyway, this week was pretty good and I got 4 books in total!

I bought A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin along with A Feast For Crows. Both books 3 and 4 in what we now call the Game of Thrones Series. I seriously can't wait to read these and Book 3 is a big ass book!

I received The Iron Thorn by Caitlin Kittredge from Random House by their RandomBuzz.com program.

I received an ARC The Lost Code by Kevin Emerson from Harper Collins Publishers through Goodreads.com

All of these books sound so freaking good and I seriously can't wait to read them! I might explode if I don't soon especially Game of Thrones! -dies-
