Going Away!

Hey Chroniclers! Sorry I haven't been posting lately. It's been my birthday and things got pretty wild and crazy and I've been getting ready to leave to Portugal.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll be leaving to Portugal today in a few hours so won't exactly be on the site. BUT! I scheduled posts to go up every single day except Monday's and Sunday's. Hopefully I get wifi there so I can use it to post on the remaining days. But I have some new meme's coming up and some exciting things so don't leave and check back.

Hopefully I'll see you guys all soon again! Love you Chroniclers!

Honey Boo Boo Book Signing

Hey Chroniclers! So today I was able to go to New York City once again and this time I went to a book signing. Mama June from the hit show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was signing copies of her book at Barnes & Noble at a meet and greet. It was seriously amazing.

Bought the book and waited in line for her to appear. As soon as she appeared the cameras were flashing non-stop her way. That's what you get for being an A-List Celebrity =P Once they were done she got to signing and greeting. She actually told the people she wanted to personalize the signatures and take photos.

It finally got to my turn and I went to stand next to her and she was looking at me smiling and I'm sure she was loving my shirt. She asked how I was and I said doing great and you and she said great as well. Then I told her she looked beautimous and she laughed and said thank you. And then she finally signed my book and left me an amazing message.

She called me smexy and I'm sure that is the best compliment I have ever received. We took a picture together and then I went off into the sunset, happy as I can be. I hope she writes more books and comes back so I can see her again. xD

To Be Read Pile (July 2013)

Hey Chroniclers! I'm back with another post! Whaaaat?! I know! Two posts in one day, the sky is falling. I'm back, though, because it's the first of July and that's just some foolishness! But, I present to thee, the To Be Read Pile of July 2013!

To Be Read Pile (June 2013)

I don't even bother at this point. Last month I said I was going to read Game of Thrones but I decided to save it for when I return back from Portugal and start on some smaller books for now. There's a little bit of space but you can't exactly see it at the moment. Soon you can. Hopefully.

To Be Read Pile (June 2013)

Last month I had 51 books. I received/bought 5 books which isn't that bad. The majority of them I received for review so hey! I read 4 books and started my 5th which isn't that great, compared to how I did previously. Hopefully I can read a lot more this month. I'm currently at 51 books again which is making me feel like I'm reading in place. 

I don't exactly have any plans for this month except read the smaller books before going to Portugal at the end of the month. I really don't know what books I'll take to Portugal so I'll go and read them now randomly. Hopefully next month there'll be a big space for newer books but...

Monday's Novel Talk (71)

Hey Chroniclers! You ever woke up early but for some reason went back to bed and woke up at a later time and felt groggy and just confused and heavy? That's how I feel right now and I've been staring at the screen for five minutes practically sleeping. But, it's July! Already! I thought it was like June 30th still but nope, it's July. My birthday is coming up and I leave to Portugal at the end of the month. I'm a bit nervous. But, let's talk books though.

 Since last time I posted this up, I finished reading Magic Steps by Tamora Pierce and I loved every bit of it. I kind of forgot the ending since the last time I read it years ago so it was a great surprise for me. Tamora Pierce is seriously a great author and I just hope she keeps writing more.

I also finished reading Street Magic by Tamora Pierce which is the second book in The Circle Opens Quartet. I was recognizing some parts of the book and then I realized I didn't remember the rest. So, when I went to check my old copy I found a bookmark halfway through the book and that's when I knew I never finished it so that was great. It was like reading it for the first time and I loved it.

I'm currently reading the third book in the Quartet, Cold Fire by Tamora Pierce and I'm currently on page 144 of 355. I fear that I've hit a bit of a reading slump which is my first one. I just feel blah with reading and it's taking me forever to get through these books. I just hope I can finish it quickly because I got some other books to read as well before going to Portugal.
