Yesterday, Julia Kagawa revealed the cover for her newest novel The Iron Legends.
The Iron Legends will consist of the two novella's Winter's Passing and Summer's Crossing along with a brand new novella.
Do I plan to get it? I do, and the cover isn't that bad. And I say this because when Julie Kagawa presented the cover for her spin-off series, The Lost Prince I felt as if my time with the author was over.
The cover definitely advertises to the female side and kind of pushes away the male. I mean I wouldn't want to be caught with that book in my hand because people would think it's something completely different. When I asked a couple of guys what they thought that novel was about based on the cover, they all said a cheesy romance novel with lots of nude men. Which is what it looks like.
I don't want to get into the business of covers yet because I have a post planned for it.
Let me know what you guys think of both covers in the comments below!
