Tuesday's Novel Spotlight (12)

I am such a duck! I seriously thought that this came out on November 16th. At least that was the previous release date but I guess it was pushed up. Well there goes another books to add to my pile along with Nightshade which I really want to read but I guess I can wait.

Anyway this week's Novel is none other than...

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. The sequel to the awesome book of Hush, Hush. I read Hush, Hush as an ARC for Barnes and Noble and I still not have bought an actual copy of the book. Although I will sometime soon so that I can add it to my collection. But this one just came out to day and it literally flew past me. -__- So anyway for you to all go out and buy it let's see the synopsis.

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying to heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

The first book was amazing and the second one just sounds really freaking intense. I understand that the books were released earlier in some places so tell me what you guys though if you have read it. And if you even want to buy it at all. I'm going to see if I can get my sister to buy me this =D
