Monday's Novel Talk (10)

Hello all. Michael here. For some reason, I've been feeling as if my blog posts have been missing the umph and the hurrah that I gave before. But I'll try to add that back in if I remember how. O.o

Anyway, on to the books I'm reading. The Naked Empire by Terry Goodkind. Still on the same page as last week. Just getting smaller books out of the way. Still haven't actually started reading The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima. Although I will read it next. Unless another book gets in the way. -_- I'll try to read it before The Exiled Queen is released.

Anyway, going to the book I am reading at the moment. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare! I'm currently on Page 30, Chapter 2. I've only read a Chapter per night. Sucks, I know but I've been tired. So far, the Prologue and Chapter I have been good enough to grab my attention. I'm already comfortable enough with Cassandra Clare to not feel foreign with any of her works. And since the world is the same as her previous novels it's even better.

So far nothing exciting has happened except demon slayage, dead girl, girl kidnapped, brother missing etc etc. We met some characters like James aka Jem, Will, Tessa and Dark Sisters. All seem full of life and are interesting enough to create the story.

It's still too early to actually go into it but I know what the Clockwork Angel is already. All I want to know is what it holds. =O

Anyway, hopefully I'll finish really, really soon. If you've read any of these novels, comment with your thoughts. Really, comment. I haven't had comments in the longest. So sad haha. Breaking my heart. But I'll see you all tomorrow!
