Tuesday's Novel Spotlight (11)

Hey guys! It's Tuesday and that means, Tuesday's Novel Spotlight! Which is a weekly meme hosted by ME! Where we introduce a book that has been released this week, or just a book we want to share with the world.

Today's book is actually a book that was released today and I can't believe I forgot about it since I've been counting down. Weird since I haven't read the previous books. O.o

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan! What do I know about this book so far? It's set in the world of Percy Jackson and it is after the events of Percy Jackson. So that's basically it. I guess this is where I show you guys the synopsis. -nods-

Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she's his girlfriend Piper, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they're all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for "bad kids." What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea-except that everything seems very wrong.
Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, and her vivid nightmares reveal that he's in terrible danger. Now her boyfriend doesn't recognize her, and when a freak storm and strange creatures attack during a school field trip, she, Jason, and Leo are whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. What is going on?
Leo has a way with tools. His new cabin at Camp Half-Blood is filled with them. Seriously, the place beats Wilderness School hands down, with its weapons training, monsters, and fine-looking girls. What's troubling is the curse everyone keeps talking about, and that a camper's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist they are all-including Leo-related to a god.

So it definitely does sound interesting but I'll only read it once I read Percy Jackson. Which will be a while. =D And this is book one of the new series, Heroes of Olympus.

Has anyone gotten the book and started reading it? How is it so far? Will anyone be getting this book? Leave the comments down below.

I can't wait to get my hands on this book. Also very shocked that you haven't read the Percy Jackson series, even if it is targeted at for young children, its still incredible!

I'll definitely be getting this book! Even if I'm a little sad that Percy isn't the main character :(

Oh Catherine, I've heard so many great things about the series and actually introduced it to my friend. He's basically in love with greek gods so he got it right away. I'm still pretty jealous that I have not read it yet but I will soon. I just have so many other books to read it's crazy. But read them I will some day!

And even if it isn't the same character you'll probably see Percy a lot. Haha xD
