White Cat by Holly Black.
Cassel comes from of curse workers-people who have the power to change your emotions, your memories, your luck, all by the slightest touch of their hands. Since curse work is illegal, they're all criminals. But not Cassel. He hasn't got the magic touch, so he's an outsider-the straight kid in a crooked family- as long as you ignore one small detail: He killed his best friend, Lila. Now he is sleepwalking, propelled into the night by terrifying dreams about a white cat. He also noticed that his brothers are keeping secrets from him. As Cassel begins to suspect he's part of one huge can game, he must unravel his past and his memories. To find out the truth, Cassel will have to outcon the conmen.
Now the original cover is pretty cool. We see an actual white cat on the front being held by a guy with gloves on. Makes sense if you think about it. The second cover though looks amazing! From the font to he image of the girl. It's eerie and spectacular and just different than what we usually see.
Between the two I have to say that the new cover is definitely my favorite. It just looks amazing! What do you guys think though? Vote for your favorite down below and let's see which one is the winner!
